just ask him straight up, hey whats going on?  if its jealousy, say look i dont like her like that way and you know it.  and then i'd ask him does she mean so much to you that you would throw away our friendship...the only person making  you choose between friends is him, so either he doesnt trust you (which is irrelevant cuz their relationship is over and you arent interested in her), he isnt as good a friend as you think (probably otherwise he would know better to disrespect you like that), or he's just disrespecting you cause of what she did to him (cause he's feeling rejected and being immature and if she isnt around, well you are). 

i dont know what to tell you, you just have to ask him whats going on first.  he may not even realize he's being as big a dick as he is.  if you ask him and he recovers and gets the situation under control, then you know it just got out of hand for a minute.  if he's like fuck you, fucking fuck then yea he probably doesnt give a shit what you're going to say, he's jealous and there isnt much legitimate friendship involved with that degree of jealousy.  and if he's trying to get to her through you, just say, not going to work.  me and her are friends, staying friends, deal, get the fuck out of my face about it, or fuck off until you decide to chill and not blow up on me cause of something irrelevant to our friendship.

but the thing is there are more colors than we can see, more dimensions than we can process (time being one of them), more to reality than what we "create" or manipulate.

humans are an overlay on top of reality.  1 example: we are limited to the colors in our crayon box, physically we can only detect a small frequency of wavelengths that does not mean that what we perceive is all there is.  we can use infrared to detect "false color".  false because we are ego centric, we assume what exists beyond us does not truly exist because we cannot perceive of it.

the subconscious mind, the largest probability matrix in the world filters and hence limits our perception to that which is necessary in human function as a means of survival.

we have tied ourselves into the reality.  its almost like we werent made for this world.  more exists in this world than we can perceive and because of it we are constantly "seeing" more, adapting, becoming "enhanced".  like a tiny fish contained in a big bowl, he continues to grow until he "fits" in proportion to his environment. 

you dont have to see, feel, taste, hear, touch reality for it to exist.  we do not create reality, we limit it.  humans, so arrogant, we dont have to believe in anything, it still exists.  unless of course we destroy.
